Seán McMahon has been in Christian ministry since 2011. He received pastoral ordination in 2020 and served at the Community Baptist Church of Aquinnah on Martha’s Vineyard until 2023, when he joined the Good Shepherd Parish of Martha’s Vineyard. He continues to use his musical, preaching, and teaching gifts to build up the Body of Christ locally in New England, throughout America, as well as online through his podcast and voluminous catalogue of recorded music. His ministry is guided by a broad ecumenical vision and as a self-described “folk theologian” he has the unusual ability to simplify and connect complex Biblical ideas in his theological studies.
